LAHORE
A LARGE number of government schoolteachers taking out a rally on Saturday condemned the anti-Islam movie.
The rally organised by Punjab Teachers Union (PTU) and Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the Punjab schoolteachers started from Nasser Bagh and culminated at GPO Chowk.
The rally participants carrying placards and banners chanted anti-US slogans and condemned the makers of the blasphemous movie.
PTU and JAC office-bearers, including Syed Sajjad Akbar, Rana Liaquat, Rana Arshad, Zafar Sindhu and Aslam Ghuman, also addressed the rally participants and said they would not hesitate to sacrifice their lives for Namoos-e-Risalat (PBUH).
They demanded that the US authorities should register a criminal case against the makers of the sacrilegious move and award exemplary punishment to them.
The teachers also urged Muslim countries to boycott United States till the blasphemers were not punished. the news
